The wristband (sold separately from the base station) can be worn 24 hours per day for peace of mind around swimming pools, jacuzzi, and other water hazards. Ideal for sleepwalking children as well. Will function when everyone is using the pool. A small child will not slip in unnoticed while entertaining guests. It's simply not practical or possible to have a traditional pool alarm activated during pool use. This product may offer that last layer of protection when doors, gates, ladders, and supervision fails.
